After an easy 1 1/2 hour tride rain to Nottingham , I met the lovely Hannah from the Nottingham International Office who took me on a non stop tour of the campus, Nottingham has a really vibrant atmosphere !!
1-Great overview of all the entry requirements for Nottingham Trent International College via KAPLAN from TIM Hubbard in Student Services and it was great to see a really diverse crowd of students ,and great to have Humanities, Design, Law and Business under one roof for International Students.
2- Fantastic ART and DESIGN division with Special links within the Knit wear Industry and great employment opportunities for students.
Love the laser cutting machines and the Old Black Print Press (saved from the old Arkwright building) and amazing resources to allow students to execute those ideas, whether printing on Fabric or onto Paper! (see PICS)
Quick Stop for Lunch (Posh Fish Finger sandwiches,,,Mmm.)
Then on to meet the staff of Nottingham Business School , one of the first full service Business Schools in the Uk (est.1979) and great commercial links for students with BP, Microsoft,Barclays, E-ON, Rolls Royce and Adidas just to name a few.
Finally wrapped up with a brilliant informal chat with Tracy from the Nottingham Law School and opportunites for Intl Students ................
Then a Tram to the station and I was back in London by 5.30pm... what More could you ask for on a day out from the office.!
